Carter Grant
Physical education and early years teacher, Manchester
- 🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom
- Kilimanjaro Girls' School
- 1980 to 2016
- English
For 36 years I was the physical education teacher at Kilimanjaro Girls' School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
More about Carter
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Carter: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Year 7 class in 1981. You believed I could do it before I did!
