Caroline Upendo Okello
Bass and jazz teacher
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Meadowbank Quartet
- Since 2015
- English
I've played bass since 2015, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I take the work seriously, though not myself.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Caroline
I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Caroline: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
