Carolina Giovana Carvalho
Thatching for 46 years in Guarulhos
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Beacon Workshop
- Since 1980
- Portuguese
I've worked in thatching since 1980. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,750 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Carolina
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
