Carolina Fabiana Mendes

Taught biology at Petrópolis Public School

  • 🇧🇷 Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Petrópolis Public School
  • 1998 to 2017
  • Portuguese
For 19 years I was the biology teacher at Petrópolis Public School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Carolina

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
