I've volunteered with Glasgow Relief Network since 1989. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I try to remember everyone's name. Small habits keep a team together.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Carol: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
