Carmen T. Álvarez
Mentor in entrepreneurship and engineering
- 🇲🇽 Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico
- Celaya Association
- 1980 to 2004
- Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,130 people through Celaya Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Carmen: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
