Carmen Ramírez
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇸 Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
- Since 1985
- Spanish
I've worked in thatching since 1985. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,850 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Carmen
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
