Carmen P. Guzmán

17 years teaching environmental science in Bogotá

  • 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
  • Bogotá Primary School
  • Since 1993
  • Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Carmen: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
