Carmen L. Ruiz
Youth table tennis coach and mentor
- 🇲🇽 Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico
- Monterrey Meadowbank Athletic Club
- Since 1999
- English, Spanish
I've coached table tennis at Monterrey Meadowbank Athletic Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Carmen
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
