Carmela R. Andrada
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines
- Old Highland Workshop
- Since 1987
- English, Filipino
I've worked in auto repair since 1987. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,600 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Carmela
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
