I coached baseball at Bacoor St. Mary's Community Club from 2005 to 2022. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Carmela: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
