I coached hockey at Makati Stonebridge Sports Club from 1988 to 2008. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Carmela: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
