I'm a volleyball coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 2,110 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Carmela
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
