I've been a nurse for eight years, most of them in elder care at Frangipani Community Hospital in Quezon City. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
