Carlos T. Cortés

Chaplain and community helper

  • 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
  • Cedar Grove Temple
  • 2016 to 2025
  • English, Spanish
I've served Cedar Grove Temple in Houston from 2016 to 2025. My days are mostly visiting, listening and helping people carry things, sometimes literally. We run a weekly meal that everyone's welcome at, whatever they believe. I take the work seriously, though not myself. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
