Carlos R. Vargas

Painter, potter and teacher at El Paso Gallery

  • 🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States
  • El Paso Gallery
  • Since 1981
  • English, Spanish
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1981 at El Paso Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. I'm still learning every day.
