I taught English literature at Mesa Public School in Mesa from 1989 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Carlos
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Carlos: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
