Carlos Miguel Machado

Writer of memoir and local history

  • 🇧🇷 Contagem, Minas Gerais, Brazil
  • Hope Gazette
  • Since 1989
  • Portuguese
I've been writing since 1989. First as a hobby, then as a job and finally as the thing I couldn't stop doing. I run a small writing group that meets every second Thursday. I carry a notebook everywhere. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Carlos

Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
