Carlos K. Cordero

Painter, potter and teacher at Mérida Gallery

  • 🇲🇽 Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico
  • Mérida Gallery
  • Since 2014
  • Spanish
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2014 at Mérida Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Mérida Gallery, which keeps me honest. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Carlos

I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Carlos: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
