For 14 years I've run the chess program at Caruaru Lakeview Athletic Club in Caruaru. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Carlos
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Carlos: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
