Carlo M. Quizon
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Manila Community Club
- 2003 to 2017
- English, Filipino
For 14 years I ran the rugby program at Manila Community Club in Manila. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
What gifts mean to Carlo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2010. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Jimma.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Madurai.
