I'm a mural painting artist based in Soweto. I've been making things from 1987 to 1997 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

What gifts mean to Carla: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
