Carla Naicker
Retired home economics teacher from Riverside High School
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- 1981 to 2010
- English
I taught home economics at Riverside High School in Pretoria from 1981 to 2010. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Carla
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Carla: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
