I've spent 29 years as a lecturer in modern history at Ashford Institute of Technology in Latina. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Carla
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Carla: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
