I've volunteered with Brookfield Volunteer Corps since 1988. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Carla: Any gift will help us cover the hall hire this winter.
