For nine years I was the geography teacher at Çankaya Technical College. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Cansu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
