I've spent 32 years as a lecturer in literature at Bekasi Institute of Technology in Bekasi. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Candra: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
