Candra Teguh Suharto

History teacher at Bekasi Middle School, Since 1980

🇮🇩 Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia
Bekasi Middle School
Since 1980
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 46 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 1,560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Candra

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
