Candra Mulyadi Permana
Environmental science and accounting teacher, Jakarta Barat
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Harbor Academy
- 2008 to 2017
- English, Indonesian, French
I taught environmental science at Harbor Academy in Jakarta Barat from 2008 to 2017. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Candra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Candra: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
