I taught history at Jakarta Public School in Jakarta from 1998 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Candra: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I'm a software developer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Jimma.
