Camila W. Álvarez

13 years teaching biology in Bogotá

🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
Bogotá Academy
Since 2006
English, French

I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Subjects taught

Biology Agriculture

What gifts mean to Camila: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
