I coached volleyball at Envigado Boxing Gym from 1986 to 2016. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
