Cameron W. Whitfield
32 years teaching economics in Shreveport
- 🇺🇸 Shreveport, Louisiana, United States
- Shreveport Public School
- 1988 to 1997
- English
For nine years I was the economics teacher at Shreveport Public School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Cameron
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me economics in 2021 at Shreveport Public School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
