I teach design and technology at Edinburgh Boys' School in Edinburgh since 1978. Most days I teach first-year students, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I've had 2,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
