Byaruhanga Salim Mollel
12 years teaching French in Thika
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Kingsway Academy
- Since 1998
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Byaruhanga
If you were in my Grade 4 class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

You taught me French in 2008 at Kingsway Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
