Byaruhanga Peter Rashidi
Brass band player and teacher in Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Choir
- Since 1983
- English, Swahili
I play brass band and bass. I started in 1983 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Byaruhanga
I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
