Byaruhanga Joseph Mwangi

Taught art at Jacaranda Boys' School

  • 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
  • Jacaranda Boys' School
  • 2013 to 2021
  • English, Swahili
For eight years I was the art teacher at Jacaranda Boys' School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.

More about Byaruhanga

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
