Byaruhanga Bakari Urassa
Sculpture and mural painting artist
- 🇺🇬 Fort Portal, Western Region, Uganda
- Little Eastgate Print Workshop
- Since 1995
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1995 at Little Eastgate Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
