Bushra Laiba Gill
Classical player and teacher in Peshawar
- 🇵🇰 Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
- Valley View Orchestra
- Since 1983
- English, Punjabi
I play classical and traditional drumming. I started in 1983 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Bushra: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
