Busaba Tippawan Ampai
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇭 Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand
- Nakhon Ratchasima Repairs
- Since 2003
- English
I've worked in thatching since 2003. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 780 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Busaba
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Busaba: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 2017 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Glendale.
