Burcu Esra Çelik
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Little Istanbul Workshop
- 1998 to 2014
- English
My trade is tiling. I opened my own shop in 1998 in Istanbul and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Burcu: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
