Burcu Derya Özkan

15 years teaching special education in Istanbul

  • 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
  • Istanbul Grammar School
  • Since 1986
  • English, Turkish
For 40 years I have been the special education teacher at Istanbul Grammar School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
