Bunga Rani Wibowo
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Bogor, West Java, Indonesia
- Bogor Workshop
- Since 2010
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in weaving since 2010. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 500 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 18 years later for another job.
More about Bunga
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Bunga: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

You fixed our roof in 2011 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Katowice.
