I coached rowing at Northside Swimming Club from 1996 to 2025. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Bukola
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Bukola: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
