Bukola Joy Yusuf
Woodcarving artist in Epe
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Epe Art Collective
- Since 2010
- English, Yoruba, Spanish
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 2010 at Epe Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Bukola
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Bukola: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
