I've served Bamboo Fellowship in Los Angeles since 1980. My days are mostly visiting, listening and helping people carry things, sometimes literally.
We run a weekly meal that everyone's welcome at, whatever they believe. I never rush a conversation.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
