I play singing and folk music. I started in 1999 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Brooks
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Brooks: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
