Brooks H. Boyd
Art and geography teacher, New Orleans
- 🇺🇸 New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
- New Orleans Grammar School
- Since 1997
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
More about Brooks
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me art in 2000 at New Orleans Grammar School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays. Greetings from Dortmund.
