I've volunteered with Acacia Community Kitchen since 1992. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. Small habits keep a team together.
More about Brooklyn
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Brooklyn: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
