Brooklyn Curtis
Teacher at Central Secondary School, loves physics

I taught physics at Central Secondary School in Auckland from 1993 to 2015. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,030 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Brooklyn
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Brooklyn: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
